Dr. Krannawitter is an eye doctor practicing in Lenexa, KS. Dr. K is licensed and fully trained to treat the following and more:

  • Ocular Pathology
  • Corneal Abrasions
  • Pink Eye
  • Co-manage cataract eye surgery

Every comprehensive eye examination includes screenings for corneal disorders, ocular allergies and dryness, three separate screenings for glaucoma, eye muscle alignment, pupil abnormalities, and retinal disorders such as diabetes or hypertension. These tests are done in addition to finding the perfect prescription for your glasses and contact lenses. We strive for excellence in patient care and appreciate your trust in our expertise.

Optometric Physician
Dr. Lea Krannawitter graduated in 1996 from Kansas State University and in 2000 from the University of Houston College of Optometry. Her special interests  fitting multifocal contact lenses. She has worn contact lenses since the 3rd grade and now enjoys fitting kids in them for the first time. Dr. Krannawitter grew up in Gardner, Kansas, and now lives in Olathe with her husband James and their daughters, Mia and Lauren who keep her busy with competitive dance.
Rachel
Office Manager
Rachel joined Krannawitter Eye Care in July  of 2020.  She graduated from KU where she specialized in metalsmithing and jewelry design.  Her passion for art gives her a keen eye when helping patient find their perfect frame.  Rachel lives in Lenexa with her husband Hugo and their dog Lucy.  When she isn’t working, you can find her in her studio working on new jewelry pieces, knitting, creating floral arrangements or eating at a hole-in-the wall taco joint.
Beth
Optician
Beth joined Krannawitter Eye Care in February of 2013.  She, like Dr. K, is a proud KSU alum!  She studied classical voice and continues to sing in the Kansas City area.  She loves helping our patients select fun frames that they love and feel their best in. when Beth isn’t working, you can usually find her doing her favorite things: being a mama to her kiddos, Marin and Wesley, finding and collecting Mid-Century Modern furniture with her husband, Geoff, or enjoying a good movie!
